GIS have 28 years experience specialising in the manufacture of sealed units for the Glass and Glazing industry.
In 1984 recognising an entry into the market place, GIS began the manufacture of Aluminium Windows, this later evolved with the manufacture and installation of PVCu Windows, Doors and Conservatories for the Retail, Trade, New Build & Commercial sectors.

GIS operate from a 45,000 Sq. ft factory facility based in Luton Beds and manufacture using ‘state of the art’ machinery coupled with the latest computer technology and have the capacity to produce in excess of 1200 Windows / Doors and 5000 Kitemarked sealed units per week. We have our own laboratory to carry out testing of both sealed units and profile welds.
Being active in the commercial sector since 1987 has ensured that our Health and Safety record has been closely monitored both internally and externally. We have indeed been awarded the CHAS Accreditation.
GIS operate a quality management system which complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000, we are amongst the most accredited manufacturers in the South of England with BSI Kitemarks, membership of Construction Line and FENSA registration.
We have a proven track record working on a number of successful partnership arrangements with individual contract sums in excess of £4,300,000. GIS are reported by clients to have continually scored well against established key
performance indicators.
GIS have been working together with Dacorum Borough council since 2001, first as a sole partner and then as part of a Strategic Partnering Arrangement, playing a vital role to ensure continuing success in delivering the councils PVCu Window Replacement Programme. By March '08 GIS had provided new PVCu windows to in excess of 3500 properties in order to meet the ’Decent Homes’ Standard.
GIS at Buncefield
In partnership with Dacorum, GIS manufactured and Installed new PVCu Windows to the councils damaged properties following the Buncefield explosion. Due to further expansion and to fulfil market potential, GIS has reintroduced the manufacture and installation of Aluminium Windows, Doors and Curtain Walling to its range.
